After almost 18 years seeing the same hairstylist I found myself suddenly in a position to find a new one. I did my research and found Alissa and Lacey. Riddled with a head full of cowlicks I was nervous having someone new cut my thick ruler straight hair. I can't even tell you how thrilled I was with the results! Dear Alissa, I'm so happy to have found you and Hair Sprung. After my last hairsylist went AWOL last year, I have been hoping to find someone who really knew how to cut my curly hair. My last cut was at a salon that specializes in doing just that, but it was not a great experience. The stylist spent most of the appointment doing a hard sell on their line of products and I ended up with a shapeless, unflattering cut. (And, it was expensive!) I had the opposite experience at Hair Sprung. You diagnosed the problem with my cut within seconds and gave me one of the best hairstyles I've had in YEARS. I've had nothing but compliments on it! During our chat, I realized that you are someone who really cares about giving a great hair cut to your clients, no matter what their needs are. Your prices are more than reasonable and it's always fun to spend time in the Junction, which is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto. So, THANK YOU! Like all good hair stylists, Alissa understands hair - how this curl will flip, how to make thin hair appear fuller, what colours will complement skin tone. But what makes Alissa a GREAT stylist is her personal touch. She makes an effort to get to know each client, she really listens to their concerns, and she offers great ideas. That is why I travel from Kitchener on a regular basis - Alissa is worth it!
